The new Dezire is powered by the same 1.2 Litre 3 cylinder Z12E petrol engine as seen as in Swift producing 82 HP and 112 NM of Torque comes with Idle start/stop feature in order to enhance the fuel efficiency. It offers 5 speed Manual and 5-speed AMT transmission.

Maruti Suzuki claims 24.79 KM/L fuel efficiency for Manual, 25.71 KM/L for AMT and 33.73 KM/KG for CNG variant that offers 69.75 HP and 101.8 NM torque looks more economical for cost calculated customers.

Exterior

Major changes has been observed in design from front to back.

All new hexagonal grill with chrome additions and new LED headlamps with blacked-out surround.

One of the new addition is Sunroof and crease from the back to the front.

The side profile contours on the doors and fenders with all new diamond cut alloy wheel design.

Rear got the new square shaped LED tail-lamps with 3D elements.

Interior

There are few changes in the new Dual Tone interior which completely blend with new beige upholstery with dark brown finished dashboard, silver trims and faux wood. The new infotainment system comes with 9 inch smartplay supports wireless Apple Car Play and Andriod Auto with Maruti's connected car technology.

Additional features like rear AC vents, cruise control, rear centre armrest, 360 view cameras provided more comfort and convenience as compare to the previous variants.
